Questions about the process
What file types can I upload?+
PDFs and photos or scans (JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) of the paperwork you already have — a work card, a cert of conformance, an 8130-3 tag, or a packing slip. A phone photo works fine.
What does the AI actually extract?+
Part number, serial number, cert number, issue and expiration dates, and whether a signature is present, plus any dangerous-goods details on the document — UN number, hazard class, packing group, and proper shipping name for each hazmat item found.
What happens if a field can't be read confidently?+
AeroHaz is built to leave a field blank rather than guess — it only fills in what it can read with confidence, so you're not stuck reviewing invented values.
Do I need to change my existing workflow?+
No. AeroHaz sits alongside whatever system you already use — upload the paperwork you'd already be filing, and it produces the two documents you'd otherwise be putting together by hand.
Can I upload documents from my phone?+
Yes. Tap Take Photo on the dashboard to open your camera directly — it defaults to the rear camera, with a toggle to switch to the front one if you need it. Choose File still works too, for picking an existing photo or PDF from your library. Both go through the same AI extraction as a desktop upload.
Will I get logged out automatically?+
Yes — for security, your session signs out after 10 minutes of inactivity anywhere in the dashboard. You'll see a short note explaining why when you land back on the login page, and logging back in picks up right where you left off.
Can I export or print all my documents at once?+
Yes. "Export All (Excel)" on the dashboard downloads every document's extracted data as one spreadsheet. "View Report" generates a printable summary with your shop name, the generation date, and a watermark — handy for giving to an auditor or inspector.
Can I delete a document I uploaded by mistake?+
Yes — from the dashboard's document list or from that document's own report page. Deleting removes the file and its extracted data together, and you'll be asked to confirm first since it can't be undone.
